Sound, Vibration and Form
Everything that moves, vibrates. Where vibration meets a medium, pattern appears.
What is actually measurable
Sound is a mechanical pressure wave. Frequency (hertz) determines pitch; amplitude determines loudness. When a plate or membrane is driven at a resonant frequency, particles on its surface collect at nodes — places of least movement — producing the geometric figures known as Chladni patterns, the basis of cymatics.
Careful: Resonance patterns are well documented physics. Claims that specific frequencies heal disease, repair DNA, or raise consciousness are not established science.
Long, slow waves. Fewer nodes, broader patterns.
Waves shorten. Patterns divide and multiply.
Dense, intricate geometry at the nodes.
Vibration as a way of living
Many traditions treat speech, breath, and chant as forming forces — the word that orders the world. Read symbolically, the lesson is simple: what you repeat, you build.
