The Weighing of the Heart
In the ancient scene the heart is weighed against a feather. Here, you hold the scale yourself.
The scene in context
Egyptian funerary texts and vignettes depict the deceased's heart (ib) weighed against the feather of Ma'at, with Anubis attending the scales, Thoth recording, and Ammit waiting. It was a ritual and theological image concerning the afterlife.
